Installation Instructions:
Remove the Shift Knob: Unscrew and remove the shift knob from the gear lever.
Remove Console Fasteners:
Take out the push pins from the front portion of the console.
Unscrew the two Phillips screws from the cup holders.
Lift Console Cover: Carefully lift the console cover and rest it on the shift handle.
Spread the Rubber Dust Seal: Gently pull apart the rubber dust seal around the factory shift gate.
Remove Bolts and Crush Rings: Carefully remove the bolts and crush rings securing the stock shift gate. Be mindful that the bolts and rings have a loose fit in the factory gate.
Install Crush Rings into New Gate: Place the new shift gate upside down on a square edge bench or counter. Tap the factory crush rings into the new shift gate holes using a small hammer until they fit tightly.
Install the New Gate: Position the new gate with the long slot on the driver’s side, then reinstall the factory bolts to secure the new gate.
Reassemble Console: Close the console, reattach any removed components, and reinstall the shift knob.
